Trainings | Lack of Trainees

6 months ago, We use to have a bunch of trainees joining and having the best of their time, but this now it has gotten shorter.

Every time I join a training, I always see at least 4 trainees. I mean at least we have trainees right? It’s not really their fault, I feel like we should make the Training Centre more entertaining for them. I feel bad for hosts too, because they feel the boredom and lack of interest in training when there are 4-1 trainees. We don’t really see the light in trainings anymore, helping/hosting we don’t see a spark.

There is just so much advantages and disadvantages of trainings, what are your thoughts on this? As far as we come, debating is really helpful here to discuss certain issues.

As a General Manager at the time of writing, I can confirm. Training sessions aren’t what they used to be at all, and having the staff team train four trainees is not fun at all, rendering the host to stay there in boredom. Any ideas on what we could do to make it more fun for both trainers and trainees?

I agree with you. But also, as an Interviews host, I also hardly get Hotel Guests. I only do it because I want everyone to have their chance to apply, and as for the interviewers, I want everyone (even Interviewees) to enjoy socializing with a Hotel Guest (or with an Middle Rank+ for Interviewees) for an interview. I’m always hosting interviews 5 times a week.
